Cycruising

Cycruising is a ferry boat cruise that you can board with your bicycle. Currently, there is a Cycruising ferry boat operating from Hikone Port to Makino Port via Chikubu Island.

The cruise provides a shortcut past the northern lake area which has many ups and downs, and instead you can enjoy the scenic northern shoreline view the from the boat.

Since November, 2020 the Hikone to Makino route has been operating only on weekends and holidays.
